The Department of Applied Physics and Electronics is now seeking an intermittent employee as a Project Coordinator.

Main Responsibilities

The main tasks involve supporting research activities related to the development of future scenarios for how regional goals for climate neutrality can be achieved. Additionally, you will contribute analysis and knowledge that connects the research to municipalities' actual goals, strategies, and ambition levels in climate work. The role also includes communicating research results to external stakeholders, including municipalities.

Competency Requirements

We are looking for you who have at least a 3-year bachelor's degree in energy technology, or who can otherwise demonstrate professional competence significant to the subject area and tasks of the position.

You have:

• very good knowledge and documented professional experience in municipal energy planning and Climate City Contract 2030, as well as experience with scenario-based energy planning
• experience in handling and analyzing energy data
• good familiarity with regional and national systems for reporting and monitoring greenhouse gas emissions.

You are service-oriented in both internal and external collaborations and have good initiative-taking ability as well as strong organizational skills. Very good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written) and good knowledge of English are required.

Personal qualities will be given great weight.

Other Desirable Qualifications

The following qualifications are considered meritorious:

• experience working in EU-funded projects within the energy sector
• a research interest with documented ability to produce scientific publications
• experience working within or in close collaboration with the public sector

Other Information

The position is an intermittent employment with hourly wages during a framework period (max 12 months). This form of intermittent employment means you may be offered work on individual, short-term occasions during the relevant framework period. The employment opportunities are time-limited with support from the Employment Protection Act (Lagen om anställningsskydd) 5 § 1 p. Being available in this way means you can accept or decline each occasion you are offered to work, and a new employment relationship is established for each individual occasion you work.
